A blending of Electronica and Rock, the album is a collection of works from the past few months. Lots of ambient synths and guitars, big drums with rock bass lines, and with catchy vocals and accessible lyrics ranging from alien abduction to unrequited love. Arcade Island started in 2006 in Pennsylvania out of curiosity by Alex Bew, a 21-year-old self-proclaimed nerd with "too much time on his hands". "I don't like making music in just one genre, and I don't like people telling...

This is a downtempo record [60 to 80bpm for the most], lots of zen/like ideas and naturalistic images. Quasi-folk considerations. --- dmyra [Robert Demes II] originally from the US, has made his abode in Costa Rica for the past 7 years. There he spends time studying the sound of sound. A midtempo record [80 to 125bpm]... brisk walk style. Untypical ruminations on inter-planar communications, theological tomfoolery, lovelyness, lonelyness, and other romantic notions. dmyra [Robert Demes II] originally from the US, has made his abode in Costa Rica for the past 7 years. "Ce Soir is an album that reassumes sounds and voices that tell. The story is daily, the story is memory. The memory is common memory or collective memory. The memory is always Story. The memory is an echo that involves our conscience. Our conscience is other from herself, because it is formed from other experiences. Our experiences originate from different worlds from our world. Our experiences are experiences of other worlds... Sound is our deep conscience." (Gabran) Gabran...

Trap & Zoid is a one-human electronic solo project. It's based on a simple constrain : one take live recording and no mix nor overdub. The only postprocessing allowed is cut and fade to select and to compile the tracks. This way of working stimulates immediate instant creativity and leads to a music that is trully antipodal to most usual electronic releases. The sound is very present and spontaneous, not really easy listening. It's raw, wild, dark, alive... and it's just next to you ! Heady...

"Phantastique" is a virtual LP. The intension was to make a straight, plain and simple jam record based on some repetitive patterns, at least in Joxfield ProjeX' terms of what is straight, plain and simple. Not to get too much stuck into the spacey jams the tunes are separated by some short experimental pieces. Look at these moments as opportunities to get some good, fresh air. Even though it's maybe not heard in the music, the main inspirational sources for these recordings are some...

The Synthi Group is back for the second installment of their ongoing Electronic Music Studio (EMS) instrument centered compilations. With the popularity of Vol. I, downloaded over 41,000 times, it was made clear that an interest exists for the unique sound of EMS machinery. Vol. II continues the DIY ethic of the first, encapsulating a diverse array of sounds from ultrasonic frequencies and spring reverb howls to rubbery logic sequences and colliding inverted ramp oscillators. The members...

Has Joxfield ProjeX become a Big Band with all these guests? And is this The White Album of Joxfield ProjeX? The answer is No on both questions. When we were about to start our new recording sessions in 2007 we had decided we wanted to bring our music into territories where we had never been before. To do so we wanted to involve other people and asked around amongst artists we liked and respected and to whom we could direct a mission - contribute to our music in an open-minded and creative way....

The idea for the album was, to create a soundtrack for a film, that hasn´t been shot. So the music just illustrates some imaginary spots and scenes and gives the possibility to everybody to create his own film in mind while listening to the music. All music written and performed by Tobias Herzz Hallbauer (git, git FX, voc, dr, prog, flute, armenian duduk; muezzin recording in „Deserts“ downloaded from freesound.org / Genghis Attenborough). After establishing their Austro-Italian connection in the Summer of 2009, Eve LaCroix (aka .E.) and Norbert Bieber (aka ZAUS) commenced working on another release for the Clinical Archives netlabel. The album features 2 original compositions of each artist and the mutually re-modeled versions of these tracks. Focussing on the synthesis between interaction and individual aesthetic expression, "Mutilatus Mutuus" contains a vast and complex array of richly textured sounds and rhythms,...
